Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the Karen Jeff Scholarship:

  • Nina Krisel Berke (The Spectrum School at PS/IS 188 in Manhattan)
  • Shannon Corwin (High School for Health Professions and Human Services in Manhattan)

The Karen Jeff Scholarship is offered annually by The English-Speaking Union. Named in memory of their late Director of Education, Karen Jeff, the scholarship is a competitive award open to New York City Board of Education middle and high school teachers.  The award enables them to improve their teaching of Shakespeare at a professional development workshop in the summer.
